The work behind the finished home

From the structure
to the final detail.

A successful renovation starts well before the paint goes on. Layout changes, structural work and building systems need to be considered together, with a clear scope and sequence.

  • 02
    Build what’s underneath

  • 03
    Bring the details together

Connect cabinetry, surfaces, fixtures and finishes, then review the completed scope.

How the process works
01

Start with a conversation

Tell us what you want to change, what is not working, or what you hope to build. You do not need drawings or a finished brief.

02

Understand the property

Existing conditions, site access and the intended layout help define what needs closer review before a scope can be prepared.

03

Define the work

Discuss scope, materials, responsibilities and the sequence of work. Design, engineering and permit requirements depend on the project.

04

Build, then walk through

Construction brings the plan together, from the work behind the walls to the final finishes. A closing walkthrough identifies any remaining items.

Before you begin

A few things you might be wondering.

Every home is different. Let’s talk through the details of yours.

Do I need plans before I contact you?

No. You can start with an idea, a problem in your existing home or a few reference images. If you already have plans, mention them so we can discuss the next step.

Can you help with just one part of my home?

Yes, enquiries can be for an individual kitchen, bathroom, roof, exterior or building system as well as a larger renovation. The first conversation helps establish whether the scope is a good fit.

Can I stay in my house during a renovation?

That depends on the extent of the work, access, dust control and whether essential services remain available. Discuss occupancy early, especially for kitchen, bathroom and whole-home projects.

How much will my project cost?

The property, size of the work, structural changes and material choices all affect cost. Share any budget range you have in mind; a useful proposal needs a defined scope and a review of the conditions.
